Mavalios tea cafe and gift shop at Lafayette Village will introduce us to some fabulous teas from around the world! Feel free to bring a Guest, and your favorite Tea Cup.
We will also be treated to a Fashion Show sponsored by the new Tommy Bahama store at Crabtree Valley Mall – they will be showcasing their new Summer Collection!
April 2012:
We welcome Amy Jo Wood Pasquini, Marketing Director of Our State. She will delight us with a brief history of the magazine, travel ideas, and stories about her favorite personalities that she has encountered across the state.
We will also have a brief presentation by Grady Sykes, representative of Encore:
NC State University’s program for lifelong enrichment, which features non-credit courses, study trips, and special events for adults aged 50+.
March 2012:
Joining us will be the owner of Antonio’s Gourmet Market, Antonio Saladino.
Antonio is a native of New Orleans and has a passion for food that is unrivaled. Antonio had the amazing opportunity to work side by side with some of the best chefs to come out of New Orleans – like Emeril Lagasse and Paul Prudhomme!
Antonio will be speaking about the health benefits of salmon as well as a variety of ways to prepare and what to look for when purchasing the fish. Everyone will enjoy some scrumptious tastings!
February 2012:
We will have two guests this month: Liz Youngs with Dionysus Wine Distributors will be with us to talk about Spanish wines. And Patrick Securcher of Rocky Top Hospitality, will return to provide us with a variety of chocolates to taste along with the wines!
January 2012:
