WELCOME TO THE WAKEFIELD WOMEN’S CLUB

The Wakefield Women’s Club was founded in 2001 as a social organization for women in Wakefield and surrounding North Raleigh areas. We meet every month for lunch with a program featuring local speakers with an interest in the community.

Members of the WWC participate in a variety of activities, special events and groups such as Bunco, Canasta, Bridge, Dinner Group and Book Club to name a few.  Our luncheons feature a Fall fashion show, cooking and wine demonstrations, and much more.

While the WWC is not a service club, we have been proud and passionate in our effort to support the Interact Women’s Shelter of Raleigh, Interact Women’s Shelter of Raleigh. The shelter serves as a haven for women of domestic abuse.

We have also supported the North Raleigh Ministries, North Raleigh Ministries with their food pantry and Back Pack Buddies program.
