Welcome to Wakefield Women's Club.com!

Wakefield Women’s Club is a community social organization for women in and around Wakefield Plantation and North Raleigh area. Each month the group meets for a luncheon and program by a variety of interesting speakers. Members of the WWC are also able to participate in a variety of activities, special events and small groups sponsored by the club.

While we are not a service club, we are a group of caring women and would like to use our “club network” to share with our members the needs and opportunities in our community. We communicate charity events and fundraisers in our area. WWC is especially passionate about our efforts to support the Interact Women’s Shelter of Raleigh. This shelter serves as a haven for women of domestic abuse who are embarking on the challenging journey to heal and rebuild their shattered lives and the lives of their children. Each year the WWC sponsors a Fall Fashion Show and raffle for new and perspective members and all proceeds go to the Interact Women’s Shelter. In addition, each year the WWC sponsors a Christmas Gift Drive for Interact recipients.
